As of October 1st, 2021, regulations on importing nicotine into Australia changed requiring Australian Vapers to have a valid medical prescription to legally access nicotine e-Liquids.
Since the 1st of October we’ve been inundated with questions as to what this means for our Australian customers, therefore we’re writing to cover all the main questions we’ve received.
WHERE CAN I GET A PRESCRIPTION?
You can use online services such as QuitRX.com.au, QuitClinics.com or MyNicotine.com.au to access valid prescriptions online. Simply fill out a form online and you’ll get a prescription emailed to you, usually within 24 hours.
WHAT IF I PLACE AN ORDER WITHOUT A SCRIPT?
We are still fulfilling all orders to Australia, with or without a script and we’ve had 100% success with all deliveries to all states in Australia. The onus is on you to supply a script if asked, but to date not once have any of our customers
been asked to supply a script.
SO WHY BOTHER WITH A SCRIPT?
Good question! The only difference on our end is that we cannot send orders without a script with DHL Express. Any orders received without a script we will send with another courier service. The only downside is that deliveries usually take about twice as long to arrive if you don't provide a script. Therefore, if previous orders have taken 2-3 days to arrive, you can expect to wait at least 4-6 days for your order to arrive.
DOES VAPEBOX ENFORCE PURCHASE LIMITS?
Absolutely not. You’re welcome to order whatever you like with or without a script. We are not the vape police, so even if your script says you can only get a certain amount, we're not reading the scripts and keeping track of what you have ordered.
